Mardi Gras Sydney 2010

The Sydney Gay & Lesbian Mardi Gras Sydney is one of the city’s most vibrant annual events.

The 2010 Mardi Gras will run from 21st February till the 6th March, that’s spread over 3 massive weeks which will include a Fair Day, Launch party, Parade & Harbour party.

Mardi Gras Sydney is a world famous night-time parade in the heart of Sydney on Oxford Street which is less than a 15 minute walk from The Macleay Serviced Apartments Hotel. The 2010 Mardi Gras Parade will be held on Saturday 27 February.

The Harbour Party which takes place in the Royal Botanical Gardens with the magnificent back drop of the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge is also less than a 20 minute walk from the Macleay Hotel. Dance from day to night in this most wonderful of settings. The date for Harbour Party 2010 is yet to be set. You must buy your tickets early as this event usually sells out within 48 hours.

The Mardi Gras Party held at the Horden Pavillion not far from Oxford Street is also a must for those who would like to attend one of the worlds best dance partys. There is always an amazing line up of some of the worlds best DJ.s and 4 different areas to dance depending on your mood. New Mardi Gras are trying something new in 2010 having the after party the following week on the 06 March. (Usually the party is held directly after the parade)
