City to Surf Sydney
The 2013 City to Surf Sydney will be held on Sunday August 11, 2013.
The City to Surf is a 14km fun run sponsored by the Sun Herald newspaper, and is held in the city of Sydney.
The race is one of the biggest running races in the world and attracts over 60,000 participants.
Since 1971 Sydney residents have been joined by participants from all over the world to run, walk or watch the race from the start in Hyde Park in the CBD to the spectacular finish at Bondi Beach.
The 2009 charity initiative, Herald Heroes, raised almost $2 million by race day!
The start line is located at Hyde Park and is only a 10 minute walk from The Macleay Serviced Apartments/Hotel.
On your return from Bondi Beach free buses run to Bondi Junction train station and from there only 2 stops to Kings Cross station less than a 5 minute walk from the hotel.
